Ashleigh Karaitiana poured in a game-high 18 points in the loss.
The Green team took an early 10-point lead with 12 minutes left in the first half. But the White team charged back. Kuehu scored on two straight possessions with mid-range jumpers to start the epic run while the defense started to clamp down on the Green. A jumper by

Marissa Wimbley and back-to-back layups by
Morgan Mason completed the comeback to overtake the Green team en route to a 16-to-2 run in the middle of the first half for a 27-23 lead, and they never looked back.
The White was led by Kuehu who recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds. She also stuffed the stat line with two assists, two blocks and two steals. Fellow senior
Morgan Mason scored 11 points with six rebounds. Freshman
Dalayna Sampton tied Kuehu with a game-high 12 rebounds.

Ashleigh Karaitiana led all scorers with 18 points--including four 3-pointers. Karaitiana also led the Green with seven rebounds. Junior transfer

Sarah Toeaina both had eight points apiece.

The Rainbow Wahine host UH-Hilo in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 29 before officially beginning their season on the road in Colorado with single games at Colorado State (Nov. 14) and Denver (Nov. 16).
