HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i baseball team continues its WAC road trip with a four-game series at the University of Nevada. After splitting their four-game series at then No. 13 Fresno State, the Rainbows maintain first place in the WAC with a 9-3 record.
Jarrett Arakawa (5-2) has been UH's most consistent starter on the mound. In game two of the Fresno State series, he allowed just two runs in 6.1 innings, helping the team to a 6-2 win. Overall, Kolten Wong has been leading the Rainbows at the plate. He belted his team-leading sixth homerun this past weekend against Fresno State and is batting a team-best .390.
Hawai'i and Nevada will play Thursday and Friday at 6:00 p.m., and a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. All start times are Pacific Time.
