Rainbows Continue WAC Play Hosting Louisiana Tech

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i baseball team (18-14, 4-0) continues Western Athletic Conference play hosting a four-game series against Louisiana Tech (17-15, 2-2). The teams will play Friday, Saturday, and Monday at 6:35 p.m., and Sunday at 1:05 p.m.  At 4-0, UH is a full two games ahead of Fresno State, New Mexico State, San Jose State, and Louisiana Tech who are all 2-2. 

Kolten Wong leads the 'Bows and is fourth in the conference with a .400 batting average. He also has five doubles, one triple, and is tied for second in the WAC with five homeruns. Pitchers Zach Gallagher and Matt Sisto rank No. 2 and No. 3 in the conference in ERA. Gallagher leads Hawai'i with a 4-1 record and 1.95 ERA in 10 appearances, with Sisto at 2-4 and an ERA of 2.33 in eight appearances.

Ticket Information: Individual game tickets are $8 in the lower and mid levels. Adult tickets in the upper level are $6, with senior citizens for $5 and student tickets in the upper level for $3. In addition to purchasing tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 during the same hours. In order to ease game-day ticket lines at baseball and make online ticket purchases more affordable, UH has reduced the fee for individual-game, online ticket purchases to $1 per ticket through HawaiiAthletics.com. Previously, the per-ticket charge was $2. The fee for "Print at Home" tickets is $1 per order and the "Will Call" charge is $2 per order. Large crowds are expected, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
Promotions:  The team will be available for photos and autographs after Friday's game, as they will for all Friday home games. Fans can proceed to the field via the stairs located at the lower level of Section JJ on the first-base side of the field. The players will be available on the field for 30 minutes for “Autograph Friday”. Fans are encouraged to bring items for the players to sign. 
Coaches: Mike Trapasso (298-258) is in his 10th year at UH. Wade Simoneaux (202-243-1) is in his ninth year at Louisiana Tech.
