Rainbows Head To Southern California For First Road Trip

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i baseball team will play Loyola Marymount University and Long Beach State this week in the team's first road trip of the season. The Rainbows (3-4) will play LMU in a four-game series from Thursday, Mar. 3 to Sunday, Mar. 6. UH will then have a one-game matchup against Long Beach State on Monday, Mar. 7. 

The 'Bows are coming off an opening season home stand that saw them split a four-game series against No. 9 Oregon and win one of three games versus No. 7 Texas. David Peterson currently leads the team with a .389 batting average, and Zach Swasey has a team-best .583 slugging percentage. 

Blair Walters has a team-high two wins coming out of the bullpen, allowing no runs on five hits in 10 innings of work.  

Game one of Hawai'i's series versus LMU is set to start at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
