Meet Results

HONOLULU - Results from Saturday's Donnis Thompson Memorial at the Clarence T.C. Ching Field. The meet is part of the six-event all-comer series that the Rainbow Wahine will host during the indoor and outdoor seasons in preparation for mainland competition.

 

Senior Anika Borden set a new personal best in the weight throw competition with a throw of 55-10 (17.02m), more than four feet better than previous best (51-7/15.72m). Emma MacCorquodale equaled her PR with a throw of 52-1 (15.88m). However both marks will not count in the season rankings since the competition was held outdoors.

 

Ashlee Jimenez set a season best mark in the 400-meters, clocking in at 59.48 seconds.

 

Meet records were also set in the men's 800-meter, mile, and 5000-meter events.

 

Other Sunset Series meets include Terry Albritton Memorial (Feb. 19), Sunset Meet #4 (March 19), Rainbow Relays (Apr. 2), and Sunset Meet #5 (May 7).
