Rainbow Baseball Hosts Louisiana Tech For Final WAC Home Series

HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team returns home to face Louisiana Tech in a four-game Western Athletic Conference series at Les Murakami Stadium from Thusday, Apr. 30, to Sunday, May 3.
 
The series opens with a 6:35 p.m. game on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, before Sunday's finale at 1:05 p.m.
 
Hawai'i (26-16, 9-6 WAC) is coming off a 2-3 road trip, falling to No. 3 Arizona State before splitting the four-game series at New Mexico State. Louisiana Tech (22-18, 7-9) split a four-game series at Sacramento State this past week. They swept a four-game series over defending national champion Fresno State the week prior in Ruston.
 
Baseball on Television
KFVE the home team (Channel 5) will do the Thursday, Friday and Sunday gamesthis week live with Jim Leahey handling the play-by-play and Pal Eldredge providing color commentary. Games are also available via the Internet through http://uhstreaming.oceanic.com.
 
Rainbows on the Radio
ESPN Radio (1420 AM) will broadcast all games live with Don Robbs calling the action. The broadcast can also be heard on the Internet at http://espn1420am.com.

Ticket Information
Tickets for this week's home games will be $8 for seats in the lower and mid sections, and $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for UH students and students ages 4-18 in the upper section. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Les Murakami Stadium (on gamedays only), the Stan Sheriff Center, or by calling (808) 944-BOWS.

UH wants “More In Les” at the baseball team's game against Louisiana Tech on Saturday. UH is hoping more fans than ever this season pack the park for the WAC showdown against the Bulldogs and rock the house with a sold-out stadium.

Tickets are limited, so fans are encouraged to secure their seats in advance. Verizon Wireless is the sponsor of the games on Apr. 30 and May 1 and the Hawaii Army National Guard is the sponsor of the games on May 2 and May 3.
