HONOLULU – The No. 4 University of Hawai'i women's water polo team (15-7, 2-4 MPSF) will play Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponent No. 7 San Diego State on Friday night at 6 p.m. at the Duke Kahanumoku Aquatic Complex.
The Rainbow Wahine wrap up their regular season schedule against the Aztecs, who come in 20-7 overall and 0-5 in MPSF play. UH will play in five exhibition home matches before hosting the MPSF Championships beginning April 24.
UH is playing its second straight home match and have won six straight, including a thrilling 6-5 victory over No. 5 California on Saturday.
Last season the Rainbow Wahine beat the Aztecs in the second round of the MPSF Championships, avenging a loss during the regular season. Both matches were played at San Diego State.
