HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team kicks off conference play this week hosting San Jose State for a four-game series at Les Murakami Stadium from Apr. 3-5.

 

The 'Bows (16-9) are coming off a successful week, winning three of four games over then No. 18 Coastal Carolina. UH vaulted into the national spotlight this week, raising its RPI (Ratings Percentage Index) to eighth while getting ranked 24th in the Rivals.com Top 25 Poll.

 

This week's four-game series against the Spartans (19-5) starts at 6:35 p.m. on Friday, April 3. UH will then face SJSU in a doubleheader starting at 3:05 p.m., on Saturday, April 4, before the series finale at 1:05 p.m., on Sunday, April 5.

 

ESPN Radio (1420 AM) will broadcast all games live with Don Robbs calling the action. The broadcast can also be heard on the Internet at http://espn1420am.com.

All the games this week will have live stats links available on the Internet at http://HawaiiAthletics.com.

KFVE the home team (Channel 5) will do all games this week live with Jim Leahey handling the play-by-play and Pal Eldredge providing color commentary. Games are also available via the Internet through http://uhstreaming.oceanic.com.

Tickets for this week's home games will be $8 for seats in the lower and mid sections, and $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for UH students and students ages 4-18 in the upper section. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Les Murakami Stadium (on gamedays only), the Stan Sheriff Center or by calling (808) 944-BOWS.

UH Alumni Association members will receive 50% off adult tickets (maximum of eight) to the games listed below. A valid Alumni Association membership card is required when purchasing tickets in advance at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or at the Les Murakami Stadium Box Office on game day. Advance purchases are encouraged. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply. Bud Light is the series sponsor.
