Baseball Goes To Oregon To Play Five Games In Four Days

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team takes its seven-game winnings streak on the road, playing in the Rose City Baseball Invitational from March 20-22, before playing at Oregon State on March 23.
 
Hawai'i (10-6) will open the invitational with two games on Friday, March 20, at PGE Park, home of the Triple-A Portland Beavers. UH will face Washington (6-9) at 12 p.m. (9 a.m. HST), then play host Portland (11-7) at 3:30 p.m. (12:30 p.m. HST). The 'Bows face Oregon (8-8) on Saturday, March 21, at 2:30 p.m. (11:30 a.m. HST), then will play in either the consolation or championship game on Sunday, March 22. UH will conclude the trip with a single game at Oregon State (8-5) on Monday, March 23, at 4:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. HST).
 
The Rainbows are coming off a four-game sweep of Loyola Marymount this past week, winning four dramatic games over the Lions with the go-ahead runs all being scored in the seventh inning or later.
