LA JOLLA, Calif. - The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team heads out on its first road trip in about a month, facing No. 8 UC San Diego for two matches on Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14, at the RIMAC in La Jolla, Calif. First serve for both matches is as 7:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. HST).

The 12th-ranked Warriors (4-11, 3-9 MPSF) and 8th-ranked Tritons (8-9, 4-8) sit in 10th and eighth place, respectively, in the league standings. The top eight teams advance to the MPSF Tournament.

Hawai'i split their two matches with UC Santa Barbara this past week, falling in four sets on Mar. 5 before sweeping the Gauchos on Mar. 6. UC San Diego beat USC in four sets before falling to Pepperdine in a five-set thriller.
