TULSA, Okla. – The University of Hawai'i continued its fourth day of action in the D'Novo/ITA All-American Tennis Championships Tuesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. A pair of Rainbow Warriors were knocked out of singles play, while two of three UH doubles teams were halted in the second round of the qualifiers.
Senior
Andreas Weber, who upset top-seeded South Florida's Lucas Jovita in opening round qualifiers on Monday, fell to Dino Bilankov of Minnesota, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-2, in a three-set marathon on Tuesday. Also falling in the second round of qualifiers was sophomore
Leo Rosenberg, who was defeated by Sebastian Vidal of William & Mary, 6-2, 6-4.
Meanwhile, doubles action started today with three Rainbow Warriors duos participating and two of three winning in the first round of qualifiers. Sophomore

Jeremy Tweedt, ranked No. 49 in the preseason ITA doubles rankings and 12
th seeded in the qualifying rounds, defeated the pair of Casey Cullen and Zeyad Montasser of Western Michigan, 8-4, before losing to Rob Lowe and Frideric Prandecki of NC State, 9-8 (5).
Rosenberg and Weber picked up a victory over Lucas Jovita and Wael Kilani of South Florida, 8-5, before falling to ninth-seeded Dmitry Lebedev and Chris Nott of Arkansas, 8-2.
Philipp Eberhard and
Dmytro Kovalyov fell in the opening round to Louis Cant and Antonio Lastre of Mississippi State, 9-8 (6).
Lajola, the No. 43 ranked player in the country, remains the only Rainbow Warrior left in the tournament. The junior is automatically entered into the singles main draw, which begins Thursday.
