Love Field Sunday. Cory Kahn (2-2) took the loss while Aaron Lorio (5-3) got the win for Tech.

Vinnie Catricala extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a 1-for-5 game with two runs.

The Bulldogs continued their home run parade from the day before early in Sunday's game, as Kevin Winn dropped a solo homer to right, giving Tech a 1-0 edge.

Haislet chimed in a home run of his own in the top of the fourth, blasting a shot to straight-away centerfield, tying the game at 1-1. Macdonald later hit a RBI-single later in the inning, pushing the 'Bows to a 2-1 lead.

Tech tied the game at 2-2 via the long ball in the bottom of the fourth. Hawai`i took the lead back in the top of the fifth on a run driven in by Haislet. But the Bulldogs added their third solo home run in the bottom of the fifth, tying the game at 3-3.

Roquemore drove in a run in the top of the sixth to give UH the lead again at 4-3. But the Rainbows left the bases loaded for the second-straight inning, keeping the 'Bows lead at just one run.

But the insurance runs came two innings later. Roquemore would again come up big, hitting a two-run triple to centerfield in the top of the eighth. He then scored on a pinch-hit single by Alex Myers before Jeffrey Van Doornum and Macdonald drove in a couple more insurance runs, giving Hawai`i the 9-3 advantage.

But even the six-run lead was not safe at J.C. Love Field. Louisiana Tech got a two-run home run by Nick Grunenwald to start their rally. Chris Bohannan added a two-run homer later in the inning before Clint Ewing blasted a three-run, walk-off homer, giving Tech the 10-9 victory.

The Rainbows will now return home for a four-game WAC series vs. Sacramento State, their last conference home series of the season, from May 2-4.
