HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow baseball team (9-15, 2-2 WAC) fell to the Fresno State Bulldogs (10-12, 2-2) 4-2 in 10 innings in front of a crowd of 2,685 in the second game of a doubleheader at Les Murakami Stadium Saturday.

The Bulldogs started the scoring in the top of the fifth as Danny Muno hit a two-run home run to right field, giving Fresno State the 2-0 edge. But UH responded right away in the bottom of the fifth, as Jeffrey Van Doornum and Haislet drew back-to-back bases-loaded walks to tie the game at 2-2.
It stayed that way until the 10th inning when the Bulldogs scored two runs to take the game 4-2.
Hawai`i will now embark on their third road trip of the season, their first in conference play, as they will face Sacramento State for four games from March 28-30. This will also be the longest road trip of the season, as UH will then play a midweek game at Stanford before another four-game WAC series at San Jose State the following weekend.
