USF put up another run in the seventh before the Rainbows started to mount a comeback. Ryan Morford drove in UH's first run before Landon Hernandez drove in another to make it 6-2.
The 'Bows then made it really exciting in the bottom of the ninth. Evan Zimny and Hernandez both drove in runs early in the inning to cut it to a two-run deficit.
