Hawai`i moved to 9-2 for the first time since 1999 and to 3-0 on the road for the first time since 1982.

Elijah Christensen went 2-for-5 with three RBI to lead the Rainbows. Robbie Wilder continued his great week, going 2-for-4 with three runs and a stolen base. Derek DuPree added a 2-for-5 game with two runs, a double, one RBI and two stolen bases. Hawai`i got up early, scoring three runs in the first inning on RBI singles by Hee, Rimes and Christensen. Hernandez hit a sacrifice fly in the second, driving in Wilder to make it 4-0. The Rainbows then put up their big inning in the fourth, scoring six runs to push their advantage to 10-0.

But the Lions didn't go away quietly. They scored a run in the bottom of the fourth, then put up three in the fifth to cut the deficit to 10-4. Wilder scored another run in the seventh on a wild pitch to make the final score 11-4.

The Rainbows will now return home for a three-game series with No. 25 Southern California starting Friday, Feb. 24, at the Les Murakami Stadium at 6:35 p.m.
