UH Falls To BYU In Three

PROVO, Utah - The University of Hawai`i men's volleyball team dropped its second Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match of the week to Brigham Young losing in three 30-27, 30-24, 30-27 at the Smith Fieldhouse.

The Warriors hit .150 as a team, while the Cougars hit .317 collectively. The big stat of the night was BYU's 18 to 3 blocking advantage.

Hawai`i (13-7, 9-6 MPSF) was led by Pedro Azenha's 15 kills, the only UH player in double figures.

BYU (14-7, 10-5 MPSF) had three players with double-figure kill outputs led by Ivan Perez's 14.

Hawai`i remains on the road stopping in San Diego for a pair of MPSF match against UC San Diego on March 23 and 25.
