Biography

2013 (Senior): Named to the 2013 All-American first team… first player from the Big West to earn the honor…also named the Big West Player of the Year…first player in school history to be named conference player of the year…set UH and Big West records for most goals in a season (101) and goals per game (3.06) …led the team in shooting percentage (.498)…also led the team in steals (71) and third in assists (46)…twice named Big West Player of the Week…awarded Big West Tournament MVP after leading UH to the tournament title…scored four goals, including the game-winner in a 5-4 double-overtime win over UC Irvine in the championship match (Apr. 28)….set a new Big West mark for goals scored in a conference tournament (9)…scored at least one goal in all but two matches…scored multiple goals in all but three matches and posted hat tricks in 21 matches….scored a season-high six goals on four occasions—vs. Long Beach State (Mar. 15), Bucknell (Mar. 16), UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 29) and Colorado State (Apr. 7)… scored five goals versus Long Beach State in the Big West Tournament semifinals (Apr. 27)… became the school’s all-time scoring leader (252) …also set a new UH single-season scoring mark…led UH with eight goals in the NCAA Tournament…scored three goals in a win over UC San Diego…scored a team-high four goals in season-finale vs. UCLA (May 12)…tallied a hat trick by the end of the first quarter vs. the Bruins… named the NCAA All-Tournament team.

2012: Did not play...trained with the Canadian National Team.

2011 (Junior): Earend first-team All-America honors...also elected to all-MPSF first team for the second year in a row… played and started in all 27 matches and scored in 23 of them…team’s top scorer with 69 total goals and led the conference in goals per match, averaging 2.56 gpg…the 69 goals was the fourth highest single-season mark in school history… recorded 19 multiple-goal matches and 15 hat tricks…also led the team with 30 steals… tallied 16 assists and 18 kick-outs drawn...broke the program’s single-match record with nine goals to lead UH to a landslide victory over Colorado State at the Santa Clara Invitational (Apr. 10)…exploded for seven goals against Loyola Marymount (Apr. 8) and five versus Wagner (Mar. 12)…set a new single-season mark for attempts with 199… completed junior campaign ranked fifth all-time in goals scored (151) and third in attempts (429).

2010 (Sophomore): A second-team All-America selection...Selected to the all-MPSF first team…ranked first in MPSF goal-scoring… was named the MPSF Player of the Week twice during the season…was selected to the MPSF All-Tournament team…totaled 60 goals, averaging 2.31 goals per match…played and started in all 26 matches…ranked second on the team with 27 steals…also tallied 13 kick-outs drawn and seven assists…scored in 23 of UH’s 26 matches…scored a career-high six goals in a 23-3 victory over Concordia (Mar. 28) at the Arizona State Invitational…scored five goals for UH against UC Irvine (Feb. 27) helping the team come out with an 11-7 win…also added one goal for UH against UCLA (Mar. 5) in the 9-8 six-overtime period victory. 

2009 (Freshman): Selected for the all-MPSF freshman team…played in all 29 matches…recorded 22 goals in 26 matches averaging 0.84 goals per match…scored her first career-goal in the season-opener against Sonoma State, helping UH win 14-1…third on the team with 20 steals and recorded six kick-outs drawn.

Prep: A 2008 graduate of Pitt Meadows Secondary School in British Columbia…a member of Pacific Storm water polo club for seven years…also lettered five years in soccer, two in volleyball and one in basketball…earned 2006 British Columbia female cadet MVP…also received Youth Nationals MVP award while leading the team to three straight championships.

Personal: Born in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada…plans to major in kinesiology and leisure science or education…has one older sister…parents are Cathy and Klamer Eggens of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia.
