2014 (Senior): Selected to the all-Big West second team… appeared and started in 25 matches in goals… posted 193 saves, the seventh highest UH single-season total… averaged 7.72 saves per match, second among starting Big West goalkeepers… posted a 7.30 goals against average… also recorded eight assists and 27 steals… named Big West Player of the Week (March 27) after averaging 11 saves in matches versus Long Beach State, Indiana and USC….tied a career-high with 11 saves in a thrilling 9-8 overtime win over Long Beach State (March 21) in the team’s Big West opener…allowed just one goal by the 49ers—on a penalty shot—in the pivotal two overtime periods….set a new career high with 14 saves versus Indiana (March 22) the very next day while limiting the Hoosiers to just three goals through the first three quarters of play….later that night recorded eight saves in a losing effort against top-ranked USC (March 22) in three quarters of action… recorded eight or more stops in 12 matches including 12 against UCSD (Feb. 22) and 13 against Cal State Northridge (Apr. 4)… recorded four steals each against UC Irvine (Feb. 1) and UC Davis (Apr. 12)…finished career with 379 saves, fourth all-time at UH and most by a two-year goalkeeper.
2013 (Junior): Appeared in 30 of 33 matches…tallied a team-best 186 saves…averaged 6.2 saves per match…posted 7.84 goals against average…also recorded 11 assists and 14 steals…tallied a career-high 11 saves versus Princeton (Mar. 17)…recorded 10 stops against UC San Diego (Mar. 30)…allowed just 3.7 goals per match in three straight wins to help fuel UH’s Big West Tournament title run… allowed a season opponent-low two goals against Pacific (Apr. 26) and just four in the Big West Tournament title game against UC Irvine (Apr. 28)….nine saves in NCAA Tournament versus UCLA (May 13).
Prior to UH: Attended Golden West College in Huntington Beach, Calif. for two years…earned two letters in water polo and one in swimming…team took 2009 state water polo title…named first team all-state as a freshman.
Prep: A 2009 graduate of Newport High School in Bellevue, Wash…lettered four years in swimming and water polo...helped lead team to the 2007 and ’08 state championships…named state defensive MVP in 2006, ‘07 and ’08…a first-team all-state selection in goal all four years...served as team captain as a senior…named most inspirational on the swim team as a juionr…a six-year member of the Washington Water Polo and United Water Polo clubs.
