2005-06: A member of the gold medal winning 800 Free relay at the WAC Championship...was second at the WAC in the 1650 (16:50.12), fourth in the 500 Free (4:57.42), and fifth in the 200 Fly (2:03.98)...ranked second at UH in both the 1000 Free (10:04.06) and 1650 Free (16:46.74), fourth in the 500 Free (4:57.42), and seventh in the 200 Fly (2:03.70)...earned first letter.

Florida International: Competed at the Hungarian Olympic Trials in three events:  200 butterfly, 400- and 800-meter freestyle...gained further international experience at the 2004 European Swimming Championships in Madrid, Spain, in two open water events - the 10,000-meter and the 25,000-meter freestyle...earned All-Sun Belt Conference recognition in three events, winning the 1,650-yard freestyle and finishing second in the 200-yard butterfly and the 500-yard freestyle...named the Sun Belt Conference Swimmer of the Week, following wins in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:27.86) by nearly 13 seconds and in the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.39), with a six-second margin of victory at the FIU Invitational #2...winning the 1650-yard freestyle at the Sun Belt Conference Championship, she posted an NCAA B qualifying mark (16:45.98)...in her first-ever meet, the FAU Invitational, placed second (10:33.78) in the 1000-yard freestyle and in the 500-meter freestyle (5:07.44).

Prep: A 2003 graduate of Vorosmarty Mihaly High School in Budapest, Hungary...was a letter winner in swimming...placed fourth at the European junior championship in the 200-meter butterfly and second as a member of the 400-meter freestyle relay...ninth at the 10,000-meter European Open Water Championship in 2002.

Personal: Born Nov. 15, 1984, in Budapest, Hungary...plans to major in international business...favorites are swimmer Michael Phelps, actress Angolina Jolie, and pancakes...her mom swam on the Hungarian National Team, while her father played on the Hungarian National Water Polo Team...parents are Toth and Laszlo Barsi of Budapest, Hungary.
