Biography

2005-06: NCAA All-American in the 100 Back (53.35) capturing fourth, then picked up honorable mention honors finishing 15th in the 200 Back (2:02.18) at the NCAA Championship...earned second straight WAC Swimmer of the Year...captured first place in both the 100 Back (54.22) and 200 Back (1:58.86) at the WAC...member of the gold medal 400 and 800 Free relays and 200 and 400 Medley relays at the WAC Championship...broke her own school records in the 100 Back (53.35) and 200 Back (1:56.79)...earned third letter.

2004-05: NCAA qualifier...WAC Swimmer of the Year...broke the school records for the 100 Back (53.68), 200 Back (1:58.09), 200 IM (1:58.90), and 400 IM (4:12.94) at the WAC Championship...picked up league titles in both the 200 IM and 400 IM...recognized with the team's Swimmer of the Year honor...also holds UH Top 10 rankings in the 200 Free (5th, 1:49.91), 100 Fly (5th, 55.77), and 200 Fly (8th, 2:04.62)...earned second letter.

2003-04: NCAA All-American in the 100 and 200 Back...recipient of the UH Swimmer of the Year award...twice honored as the WAC Swimmer of the Week for Nov. 3 and Dec. 8...named WAC Freshman-of-the-Year...WAC champion in the 200 IM (2:00.18), 100 Back (54.81), and 200 Back (1:58.39)...set UH records in the 100 (54.58) and 200 Back (1:58.39)...member of the record-breaking 200 (1:41.51) and 400 (3:44.71) Medley Relay teams...garnered honorable mention All-American status finishing 13th in the 100 meter back (1:00.85) in and 16th  in the 200 meter IM (2:15.08) at the NCAA Championship...earned first letter.

Prep: A 2003 graduate of Newport Harbor High in Newport Beach, Calif...named team MVP in swimming four years for coach Ken Lemons...swam at the 2003 World University Games in Seoul...U.S. Open Champion in the 100 Back at the Olympic Trials...swims for Irvine Novaquatics and coach David Salo.
