2015 (Junior): Received his first AVCA All-American Honorable Mention nod and was an All-MPSF Second-Team pick…started 25 matches at outside hitter...finished the season with 291 kills (3.20 K/S), 133 digs (1.46 D/S) and 56 blocks (0.62 B/S) with nine solo…ranked seventh in conference kills and 28
th in the country despite sitting out five-straight matches due to minor injury… rounded off the season going four-straight matches with double-figure kills towards a total of 16 on the year…additionally netted 20 kills twice during the season, most recently in UH’s thrilling five-set victory over Pepperdine (March 8)…posted a season-high .556 hitting clip at UCLA (March 31) with 10 kills and no errors in 18 swings...named to the 21
st Outrigger Resorts Invitational All-Tournament team (Jan. 11) after finishing the tournament with 48 kills, including 20 against Ohio State (Jan. 8)…also named to the MPSF All-Tournament team after tallying 14 kills against the Pepperdine in the MPSF Semifinal (April 30)...named to the MPSF all-academic team.
2014 (Sophomore): Started in 26 matches playing 98 sets at outside hitter…ranked second on the team in kills (3.00 per set) and third in digs (1.19 per set) and service aces (16)…also averaged 0.64 blocks per set and hit .228…posted double figure kills in 18 matches including two matches with 20-plus kills…career-high 22 kills each against Penn State (Jan. 10) in the Outrigger Invitational and BYU (April 5)…hit .421 against the Nittany Lions…in BYU match, hit ,410 and tallied five digs and four blocks…named to the Outrigger all-tournament team after finishing with a tourney-best 44 kills (4.00 per set)… tied career-high of 11 digs at USC (Feb. 20)…three service aces each against UC San Diego (Jan. 24) and UCLA (March 1)…posted 19 kills, hitting .378 with six blocks and five digs against UC Irvine (March 9)…notched 18 kills, hitting a season-best .448, with eight digs at Pepperdine (April 12)…had six matches with six or more digs, including eight digs at UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 30) and UCLA (Feb. 28)…hit .300 or better in eight matches, including four matches over .400...named to the MPSF all-academic team.
2013 (Freshman): Named honorable mention all-MPSF and to the MPSF all-freshman team…started 24 matches at outside hitter…appeared in 26 matches and 111 sets…missed the team’s regular season series finale at UC San Diego due to an ankle injury that also limited him to serving specialist against BYU (April 20) in the MPSF Tournament quarterfinals…team leader in kills for much of the season until the injury… finished second on the team with a 2.90 kills per set average and had the highest hitting percentage among the pin hitters at .262…hit in double figures in 20 matches and had a career-high 19 kills in a five-set win over then-No. 2 Pepperdine…twice named MPSF Player of the week and earned AVCA weekly honors following UH’s sweep of USC in which he averaged 2.80 kills and 1.70 digs per set and hit .429…during the Pepperdine series, averaged 4.25 kills per set and hit .393 which earned him his first MPSF Player of the Week award…also ranked third on the team in digs (1.32) and service aces (21), and fourth in blocking (0.55)…tallied 18 kills twice against Penn State (Jan. 11) in the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Invitational and Pacific (March 23)…career-best four service aces against USC (March 8)…posted three matches with double-digit dig totals including career-best 11 at Long Beach State (Jan. 18)…notched three double-doubles…career-high seven blocks against Stanford (Feb. 2).
Serbian National Team: Member of the Serbian Youth and Junior National teams from 2008-12 where he competed in 86 international matches...helped youth team capture the gold medal at the 2009 FIVB World Youth Championship in Lido di Jesolo, Italy and 2011 FIVB World Youth Championship in Bahia Blanca, Argentina...member of the gold medal-winning team that captured the 2011 European Youth Championship in Ankara, Turkey and silver medal-winning team at the 2009 European Youth Championship in the Netherlands...named Most Valuable Player at the 2011 Serbian Youth Championship, helping his team capture first place.
Prep: A 2011 graduate of Sports Gymnasium in Belgrade, Serbia…participated in volleyball…earned the school’s Best Athlete Award for 2010-11…played club volleyball for Partizan Belgrade for four years.
