2016 (Senior): Named to the AVCA All-America second team and all-MPSF second team…started 27 of the team’s 28 matches at libero…averaged 2.27 digs per set, which ranked 16
th nationally and second in the MPSF…finished third all-time in program history with 775 career digs and sixth in dig average (2.34)…10 matches with double figure digs, including season-high 18 digs, twice, against King (Tenn.) in the Outrigger Resorts Invitational (Jan. 7) and BYU (March 4)…named to the Outrigger Invitational all-tournament team after averaging 3.56 digs per set in UH’s three wins…tied career-high with five assists at USC (Feb. 16)…had 17 digs against the Trojans in the opener of the series (Feb. 15).
2015 (Junior): Named to the All-MPSF Second-Team and recognized as an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention...played in 20 matches at starting libero…finished second in the MPSF and fifth in the nation with 305 digs on the season (2.88 D/S) tying for second in the program’s rally-scoring and all-time single-season digs…tallied 17 matches with double-figure digs with nine at 15 or more…became UH’s first libero to be named MPSF/Molten Player of the Week (Feb. 23) after dishing out a career-high 21 digs against CS Northridge (Feb. 20)…additionally totaled 38 assists and tipped in his first career kill against USC (Feb. 8)…was named to Volleyball Magazine’s 2015 third-team.
2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 27 matches playing 102 sets as the team’s starting libero… averaged 2.08 digs per set, which ranked 32
nd nationally and 11
th in the MPSF…career-high 15 digs against Long Beach State (Jan. 17)…posted double figure digs in 11 matches…had 13 digs at UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 30) and 12 each against Cal Baptist (Feb. 14), UC Irvine (March 7), and BYU (April 4)… career-high four assists against UC Irvine (March 9)…averaged 3.25 digs per set in Long Beach State series…tallied double figure dig totals in both matches of four MPSF series (LBSU, Cal Baptist, UCI, and Pepperdine)...named to the MPSF all-academic team.
2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 matches and made one start at libero in season-opener at BYU (Jan. 4)…season-high five digs against Cal State Northridge (March 3)…had four digs each against UC Santa Barbara (March 29) and at UC San Diego (April 13).
Prep: A 2012 graduate of Moanalua High School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…a four-year letterman in volleyball…prior to senior season, named to AVCA High School Senior All-America watch list…member of four-time O‘ahu Interscholastic Association championship team…earned all-OIA first team for three years (2010-12) and was a
Honolulu Star-Advertiser Fab 15 selection in 2011and ’12…played for Outrigger Canoe Club and Kuikahi Volleyball Club for seven years.
