2006: Played in 41 games in 20 matches, making two starts...recorded two double-figure kill games including a season-high 11 kills at UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 14) and a 10 kill match versus UCLA on Jan. 20...hit a total of 37 kills and averaged a .350 kill percentage on the year.

2005: Played in two games in only the Brigham Young match on Jan. 7...picked up one dig in the contest.

2004: Did not play.

2003: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu...lettered three years in volleyball under former Warrior All-American Pono Ma`a...guided Kamehameha to the 2001 boy's volleyball state championship.

Personal: Born April 20, 1984, in Boston, Mass...majoring in sociology...enjoys bodyboarding...favorite athlete is professional bodyboarder Aka Lyman...other favorites include macaroni and cheese and the TV show "The Simpsons"...relatives include pro golfer Ted Makalena, musician Jesse Kalima and sumo wrestler George Kalima...has one brother...parents are Connie and Wayne Kalima of Honolulu.
