2008 (Junior): Played in 106 games in every match (27)...led the team with 936 assists...he averaged 8.83 assists per game...he was third on the team in total blocks with 93, and averaged almost a block per game...also saw time at outside hitter...tallied a career-high 15 kills against Pepperdine (Apr. 15)...recorded a career-high 68 assists on the road against UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 2).

2007 (Sophomore): Played in 66 games in 25 matches...second on squad with 79 assists...averaged 1.20 assists per game...had a season-high 22 assists against both UCLA (Feb. 2) and USC (Feb. 14)

2006 (Freshman): Played in 70 games, used mainly to serve...had his best match of the season at Stanford (Mar. 30) with 24 assists in two games played...recorded 50 assists with a .424 set percentage for the year.

2005: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of Iolani Schools...lettered four years in volleyball under Luis Ramirez and won a state championship in 2004...earned league player of the year as well as State Player of the Year...Also lettered two years in basketball and was a member of a state championship team in 2003 and 2004.

Personal: Born June 31, 1985 in Honolulu, HI...majoring in economics......has one sister...parents are Tom and Jane Carney.
