2014 (Junior): Made 18 appearances on the mound with 13 starts...finished the season 5-5 with a 3.48 ERA...had one shutout with one save and boasted an opposing batting average of .246...struck out a career-high nine batters in a complete-game win against UC Riverside (5/22)...allowed two earned runs with eight strikeouts vs Oregon (2/16)...give up one run on just two hits in seven innings at Texas (3/8)...equaled a career-high nine strikeouts against Alabama-Birmingham (3/21)...tossed a complete-game shutout with seven strikeouts against NYIT (3/3)...picked up a save in one and one-third innings of scoreless relief work at UC Davis (5/16)...taken by the Miami Marlins in the 16th round (No. 467) of the MLB First-Year Player Draft.

2013 (Sophomore): Made 11 appearances on the mound with eight starts...finished the season with an 0-6 record and a 3.44 ERA...struck out 46 batters in 55.0 innings...struck out a career-high nine batters in 7.0 innings of scoreless work against No. 10 Rice (Feb. 22) allowing just four hits and walking just one batter...pitched a career-high nine innings allowing just one run with six strikeouts versus Gonzaga (Mar. 11) but did not factor in the decsion in 3-1 12-inning loss...started and pitched seven innings at UCLA (Apr. 9), allowing two earned runs on two hits with seven strikeouts...pitched six innings against No. 4 Cal State Fullerton (Apr. 27) allowing two runs and posting five strikeouts.

2012 (Freshman): Started 14 games on the mound with one relief appearance...pitched 64.1 innings on the season, going 3-4 with 55 strikeouts and posting a 2.72 ERA...in his second career start, he pitched six scoreless innings with six strikeouts for the win (Wagner, Feb. 25)...pitched 18 consecutive innings over three starts early in the season without allowing a run...tossed a career-high 8.0 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts in a win over Wichita State (Mar. 3)...allowed just one run while striking our five batters against Fresno State (Apr. 7)...worked 4.1 scoreless innings with four strikeouts to guide UH to a 1-0 win over New Mexico State (May 5).

Prep: A 2011 graduate of Greenway High School in Phoenix, Ariz...four-year honor roll student...member of 2011 Black Canyon Conference Champions...earned Arizona all-state honors in ‘10 and ‘11...named to all-Region team in in ‘10 and ‘11...named 2011 league Pitcher of the Year.
