Biography

2004 (Senior): Started all 55 games...batted .339 with 47 runs and 23 RBI...had 13 doubles, two triples, and two homeruns.

2003 (Junior): Started all 56 games at shortstop...hit .280 with a team-high 63 hits...tied for the team-lead with 32 RBI and was second with 39 runs scored...started the season on a 10-game hitting streak (2/7-2/23)...hit .615 in four games (vs. UH-Hilo and Sacramento State) to earn WAC player of the week honors...named to the Easter Tournament all-tournament team...had 15 multi-hit games including six games with three hits a piece...went 3-for-4 with four RBI and a double vs. UH-Hilo (3/1)...had identical 3-for-5 games with a home run and two runs scored at Nevada (5/3) and vs. Louisiana Tech (5/10)...finished third in the WAC with 17 doubles.

2002 (Sophomore): Played one year at Cuesta College under coach Larry Lee in San Luis Obispo, Calif....named first team all-Southern California...team won the Western State League title, while taking third in the state of California...on the dean's list.

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Clovis West HS in Fresno, Calif....played two years under Stan Bledsoe, earning defensive player of the year honors...also lettered in football twice, earning offensive player of the year honors...football team won conference in 1999...was on the honor roll every year.

Personal: Born in San Jose, Calif....favorite athlete is Alex Rodriguez...other favorites include Italian food, "Sportscenter," "Friends," and the movie "Dumb and Dumber"...said the best thing about baseball is turning a double play with runners in scoring position.
