Biography

2010-11 (Junior): Named all-WAC second team in singles for the second year in a row…finished the regular-season with an overall record of 6-10 and dual match record of 6-8…went 6-7 in the No. 2 position... went 2-5 against nationally ranked players defeating then-No. 99 Clay Thompson of No. 8 UCLA (Mar. 11) and then-No. 45 Jason Jung of No. 8 Michigan (Mar. 3)…went 1-12 in doubles... played with Dennis Lajola, Danilo Casanova and ended the season with Jeremy Tweedt...lone win came with Casanova versus Daniel Simko and Nicholas Bjerke of Loyola Marymount (Mar. 2).

2009-10 (Sophomore): Named all-WAC second team in singles…posted a team-best 18-1 record in dual matches…had an impressive 14-match win streak to start the season…went 10-1 in the No. 3 position and 8-0 in the No. 4 position...ended the season on a four-match win streak…finished with a record of 4-1 in WAC competition…went 2-1 against nationally ranked players defeating then-No. 98 Bozhidar Katsarov of then No. 35 Cal (Feb. 7) and then-No. 122 Viktor Maksimcuk of then No. 12 Louisville (Mar. 17)…held an 8-7 mark in doubles... played last half of season with Jeremy Tweedt at the No. 3 court with a 6-5 mark and a a four-match win streak to conclude the season)...all-WAC academic.

2008-09 (Freshman): Enjoyed a solid freshman campaign...cracked the ITA singles rankings at No. 84 in February 2009...went 15-14 overall and 11-10 in dual matches...was 5-4 at the No. 2 court and 6-6 at No. 3...went 2-6 against ranked opponents...defeated his first ranked opponent of the year when he took down No. 66 Richard Wire of Stanford (Nov. 25)...clinched UH’s second straight WAC Tournament title when he defeated No. 85 James Meredith of No. 20 Boise State in straight sets....named to the all-tournament team... won five of his final six matches of the season, including all three in the WAC tournament...also picked up a win at the No. 3 position over Aleksey Bessonov of No. 20 Oklahoma State to help secure UH’s first-ever NCAA Tournament victory...in doubles action, went 9-19 overall and 6-13 in dual matches.. .was 3-9 at the No. 1 and 3-4 at No. 2.

Prep:
Played in the qualifying rounds of Jr. Davis Cup in 2005…ranked No. 64 in the ITF in 2005…played in ITF tournaments in 2004…won doubles championship of ETA U14 in Telford, England with Donald Young in 2003…reached finals of Les Petite As and won the doubles…won doubles FILA Cup, U14 in France with Donald Young…played No. 2 on the team that won the world championship in Czech Rep. U14 with Dennis Lajola and Donald Young in 2003…played the clay and hard court super national and captured 3rd place in both singles draws, and won the doubles of the Hard court tournament with Donald Young in 2002...reached the finals in singles and doubles at the spring super nationals in 2001.

Personal: Born in Boston, Mass...has one older brother and one older sister...parents are Tatyana and Alexander Rosenberg of Manhattan, Kan.
