Biography

2013-14 (Senior): Went 2-4 in doubles play...won his season opener with David Schuster against Sacramento State (1/17/14)...with Chas Okamoto, won at three doubles against San Francisco (3/19/14).

2012-13 (Junior): Played in one doubles match this season…paired with Nils Schuhmann and lost to No. 15 Baylor’s third pairing (Tony Lupieri/Robert Verzaal).

2011-12 (Sophomore):  Competed in two singles matches in the Rainbow Warrior Challenge against Kentucky...won two doubles matches in the Rainbow Warrior Challenge...ended the season with a overall record of 3-3 in doubles action...

2010-11 (Freshman): Went 0-4 in singles and 0-2 in doubles with partners Dmytro Kovalyov and Jared Spiker…competed in the ITA Regionals (Oct. 21-26) and the Rainbow Warrior Challenge (Jan. 7 & 10).

2009-10: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2009 graduate of Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif…earned four varsity letters in tennis…helped lead team to three appearance in the sectional finals, including the 2008 title…team also won four league championships…a two-time all-league pick in doubles, while winning two league championships…as a senior, finished third in the section with younger brother Mark as doubles partner…the pair was also ranked in the Top 20 in Northern California.

Personal: Born in Belleville, N.J...major in business...has two brothers...parents are Ronald and Ellen Meyer of Danville, Calif.
