Biography

2010-2011 (Senior): Started in all 30 games for second year in a row…scored a career-high 25 points in a double overtime win against Mississippi (Nov. 27), playing 48 minutes, also had seven rebounds and two assists…ended the season with a .794 free throw percentage, 11.3 points per game,  and 102 assists...became eleventh all-time scoring average (10.3) in her career, ninth all-time in free throws made (264), third in assists (377), fifth in minutes played (3,425), and tied Brenda McCunn with 116 games played in her career…had 22 points in her record breaking game against CSU Bakersfield, achieving the 1,000 career point mark…concluded her stellar career as the seventh leading scorer in school history with 1,200 points, third with 378 assists and 11th in scoring average with 10.3 points per game.


2009-10 (Junior): Started in all 30 games… Scored a career-high 22 points against San Jose State (Feb. 17) with two assists, and five rebounds… had 19 points, four rebounds, one block , and one steal against Kent State (Dec. 29)… ended the season with a .774 free throw percentage, 103 rebounds, 105 assists, 40 blocks, and led the team with 337 points, earned the Ah Chew Goo award.

2008-09 (Sophomore): Started all 27 games she played in…was named to the Bank of Hawaii Invitational All-Tournament Team, the first all-tournament selection of her career...recorded a career-high eight assists against Arizona...scored a season-high 21 points against Purdue in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic...scored back-to-back 19 point games in the Arizona State Invitational...recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds for her first career double-double against UC Irvine on Dec. 7...was named to the Arizona State Invitational all-tournament team...was named the WAC Player of the Week on Dec. 8 for her effort at the Arizona State Invitational...led the WAC in free-throw shooting.

2007-08 (Freshman): First-year phenom played in every game for the Rainbow Wahine, starting in 15...exploded for team-high 21 points in season-opening win over Washington (Nov. 16)...had 12 points, nine rebounds and two assists vs. Northern Arizona (Nov. 18)...recorded 15 points, five steals and three assists against Hartford (Nov. 24)...recorded back-to-back seven assist games against Tennessee Tech (Dec. 15) and Oregon State (Dec. 17)...had her sixth double-digit scoring game in a win over UC Irvine (Dec. 28), recording 15 points along with six assists ... had a career game against Louisiana Tech on March 6...scored 24 points on 7 of 10 shooting, 3 for 4 from 3-point range and 7 for 7 from the free throw line...scored in double-digits nine times this season.

Prep: A 2007 graduate of Honoka‘a High School in Hawai‘i...a four-year starter for the Lady Dragons...named 2007 Hawai‘i State Player of the Year by both The Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star-Bulletin...a three-time first-team all-state selection...led the Dragons to its third straight state semifinal appearance in 2007...twice named the most outstanding player of the Hawai‘i High School Association girl's state basketball tournament...named conference player of the year as a junior and senior...named first-team all-conference for straight years...averaged 15.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 5.0 apg as a junior to lead Honoka‘a to a conference championship in 2006 with a 15-2 mark...averaged 14.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 3.0 apg during her sophomore campaign...was a key member of Team Aloha, the Hawai`i all-star team that captured the prestigious Storm/Swish Invitational in Santa Barbara in the summer of 2006...also participated in softball and cross country at Honoka‘a.

Personal: Born in Honoka‘a, Hawai`i...nickname is "Kiki"...majoring in family resources...has two brothers and three sisters...parents are Soo-Ling Leong of Honoka‘a, Hawai‘i, and Kelcy Kanekoa of Honoka‘a, Hawai‘i.
