Biography

2013-14 (Senior): Started Hawai'i's first 22 games before an injury sidelined her for the last five games of the regular season...appeared in UH's final two games of the season...overall, led Hawai‘i with 14.1 points and 9.4 rebounds a game...is just the second player in the Rainbow Wahine history to reach the 1,000 point/1,000 rebound club and just the second player to lead Hawai'i in points and rebounds all four years of her career...hit the 1,000 point mark at UC Davis in her junior season and reached 1,000 rebounds in the 2013 Bank of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Classic against West Virginia (Nov. 17)...finished her career ranked No. 8 amongst the 2013-14 NCAA active career leaders in rebounds (1,176) and No. 8 in rebound average (10.4 per game) and was No. 20 in free throws made (481) and tied at No. 14 in free throw attempts (690)...ranked No. 4 in Rainbow Wahine history with 1,548 points and No. 2 in total rebounds (1,176); No. 2 in defensive rebounds (732) and No. 2 offensive rebounds (444)...a double-double machine, she recorded 12 in her senior campaign and has 55 double-doubles in her career...recorded team-high in rebounds in 15 of 31 games played this season...named the Big West Player of the Week (Dec. 2) after averaging 17.3 points and 12.7 rebounds in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Showdown tourney...voted Most Valuable Player of the Bank of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Classic...selected to the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Showdown all-tournament team...became just the fifth player in UH history to earn conference honors all four years of her career. She earned all-freshman team honors in the Western Athletic Conference and was a second team all-WAC selection as a sophomore...as a junior was selected to the Big West's first team and earned second team all-Big West as a senior...also earned Big West all-academic honors--fourth consecutive season to earn all-conference scholar-athlete honors.

2012-13 (Junior): Started all 31 games…led the team in scoring and rebounding for third straight season, averaging 15.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game…led the team with 14 double-doubles; 33.2 minutes per game; 154 free throws made and 208 attempted…was second on the team with 53 assists...at UC Davis (Jan. 19) scored 18 points to become just the 17th player in Rainbow Wahine history to amass over 1,000 points AND she also moved into second place in UH history in offensive rebounds behind former UH District All-American Judy Mosley...scored a season-high 27 points against Long Beach State (Jan. 13)… grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds at UC Irvine (Feb. 9)…dished a season-high five assists against Cal State Fullerton (Mar. 13)…swiped a season-high four steals at UC Riverside (Jan. 5)…twice logged a career high 41 minutes against Cincinnati (Dec. 29) and Pacific (Feb. 16)…ranked second in the Big West in rebounding and third in the conference in scoring…scored in double figures a career-high 26 times while hauling in double-digit rebounds in in 17 games...also recorded 14 double-doubles raising her career total to 43...led UH in scoring in 20 games; in rebounds 25 times; and in assists 10 times...tallied a career-best seven 20+ point games bringing her career total to 12…became just the second player in UH history behind Mosley to hit the 1,000 point/900 rebound milestone...finished her junior season ranked second all-time with 953 career rebounds...finished junior campaign ranked No. 8 in UH history with 1,197 points scored...is just the second player in UH history to lead the team for three straight years in points and rebounds...earned all-tournament honors in the Bank of Hawaii Invitational and the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic...selected to the All-Big West first team--the first UH player to receive first-team conference honors since the 1995-96 season...in June was also named to the Big West All-Academic Team.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Appeared in 30 games with 27 starts at forward… led UH for the second-straight season with a double-double averaging a career-high 13.2 points and a conference-high 10.6 rebounds per game…finished the season ranked No. 13 in the NCAA DI in rebounds per game and No. 15 with 16 double-double games bringing her career double-double total to 29…amassed a team-high 395 points with 317 rebounds (94 offensive and 223 defensive) while averaging a career-high 31.6 minutes per game…also led UH with 143 free throws made and 205 free throws attempted…logged a season-high 37.0 minutes three times against DePaul (Nov. 20), Army (Dec. 1), and Denver (Dec. 19)… her best offensive game as a sophomore came against Portland State (December 18) at home in which she scored 22 points on 5-8 shooting from the floor and was 12-of-17 from the free throw line… grabbed a season-high 20 rebounds against Idaho (Feb. 2) …dished out a career-high seven assists against Nevada (Jan. 26)…voted to the all-tournament team in the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic and the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Showdown and was selected the Most Valuable Player of the Chevron Rainbow Wahine Shootout…earned her second career WAC Player of the Week honor (Jan. 16-22) after posting a pair of double-doubles that helped lead UH to WAC wins over Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State…recorded career season-highs with 10 3-point field goals made; 56 assists; 19 blocked shots; and 23 steals… became the first UH player since Tanya Smith in the 2007-08 season to earn all-WAC honors (second team) and is just the 12th Rainbow Wahine individual player to be voted to an all-WAC team...although just a sophomore, Jackson has already began the ascend up the UH career rebounding charts, currently she is No. 7 with 627 total rebounds; No. 2 in rebounding average at 11.2; and No. 3 in offensive rebounds (238)…she is also holding steady at No. 6 in scoring average with 12.6 points per game…earned WAC All-Academic honors for the second straight season.

2010-11 (Freshman): True freshman appeared in 28 games with 19 starts …finished the season ranked fourth in the nation with 11.9 rebounds per game and led the WAC with a UH freshman record of 333 overall rebounds (149 offensive and 198 defensive boards)…tallied a freshman-record 13 double-doubles while also breaking the rookie record with 11.9 rebounds per game…her 25 rebounds against CSU Bakersfield (Dec. 29) was tied for the most this season in the NCAA DI and was just one rebound shy of the UH single-game record of 26 set by Renee McKnight vs. Utah State on Dec. 19, 1978…in the same game against the Roadrunners, she scored 31 points, breaking the single-game freshman scoring record set by Judy Mosely in 1987…the 31 points was the most by a Rainbow Wahine since Crystal Lee had 32 points against TCU on Feb. 25, 2001 and the 31 points is the seventh-most points ever scored by a UH player…recorded double digit rebounds 19 times while grabbing at least 20 rebounds three times…scored at least five points and three rebounds in every game she played this season…was selected WAC Player of the Week after posting her 12th double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds and sinking both the game-winning free throws with 0.3 seconds left in the game in an overtime, 72-71 victory against Utah State (Dec. 7)…was voted Most Valuable Player of the 2010 Pepsi Rainbow Wahine Invitational tournament after scoring an amazing 58 points and 48 rebounds in the three-game tournament..along with teammate Shawna-Lei Kuehu, became the first Rainbow Wahine to be voted to the all-WAC Freshman team since Janevia Taylor earned the honor in 2003-04.  

Prep: A 2010 graduate of Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep in San Francisco, Calif…earned four letters in basketball under coaches Brian Harrigan and Toni Russell and one letter in softball… helped team to three consecutive conference, and league championships along with a 2007 and 2008 Division III state championship and a 2008 national championship…earned all- state honors all four years and was All-Norcal in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
 
Personal: Born in Oakland, Calif… majoring in family resources… has one brother and one sister, Jazmine, who who played four years at Pepperdine on their women's basketball team...parents are Trina and Ronald Jackson of Oakland, Calif.…mother, Trina, played basketball for San Francisco State, where she was a two-time All-American who set scoring and rebounding records.
