Biography

2012 (Junior): Appeared in the first three games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury…tallied two catches for 22 yards…had one reception each against USC (Sept. 1) and Lamar (Sept. 15).
 
2011 (Sophomore): Played in eight games, including seven starts at slot receiver…finished with 38 catches for 356 yards and four touchdowns…set career-highs of nine catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns at UNLV (Sept. 17)…tied career-high with nine catches for 82 yards at Louisiana Tech (Oct. 1)…also scored touchdowns against New Mexico State (Oct. 22) and Utah State (Nov. 5)…named academic all-WAC.
 
2010 (Freshman): Appeared in 12 games, primarily on special teams… named to the all-WAC Academic team.
 
2009: Redshirted.
 
Prep: A 2009 graduate of De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif…earned two varsity letters in football...played both wide receiver and defensive back…team went 25-2 during his two years…helped team to back-to-back league and sectional championships…part of undefeated (13-0) state championship team during his junior season…an honor-roll student.
 
Personal: Born in Emporia, Kan…majoring in English...has one brother and two sisters…parents are Carl and Joyce Clapp of Honolulu, O‘ahu.
