Biography

2010-11 (Sophomore): Earned two personal bests at the Western Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 23-26) after taking fifth in the 1650 freestyle (17:02.90) and 11th in the 500 freestyle (4:58.33)…also finished 14th in the 400 IM (4:29.77)…swam in a tri-meet against Wyoming and San Diego State (Jan. 29)…landed third on the 1000 freestyle with a personal best time of 10:21.90…tallied six first-place finishes on the season…holds the team’s top time in the 1000 freestyle and 1650 freestyle.

2009-10 (Freshman): Won two events against Loyola Marymount (Jan. 15) in the 500 freestyle (5:10.92) and 1000 free (10:33.15)…earned two personal bests at the Toshiba Classic (Nov. 19-21) after finishing 13th in the 1650 free (16:58.88) and 24th in the 500 free (5:02.86)…took third place in the 1000 free (10:27.08) at the WAC Shootout (Oct. 9-10). 

Prep: A 2009 graduate of Tigara High School in Tigard, Ore…earned four letters in water polo and swimming…won district 500m free and 100m breast stroke…team captain of both water polo and swim team.
 
Personal: Born in St. Louis, Mo…has one sibling…parents are Nancy and Terry Meyers of Tigard, Ore.
