Biography

2011-12 (Senior): Swam three individual events at the WAC Championships (Feb. 22)…earned personal bests in the 200 IM (2:10.29) and 100 breaststroke (1:05.18)…also swam a season-best after finishing 12th in the 200 breaststroke (2:20.62)…swam in four meets. 

2010-11 (Junior): Swam in three events at the Western Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 23-26)…earned a personal best after finishing 16th in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.33)…also earned a personal best in the 200 breaststroke (2:18.96) preliminaries…finished 6th in the 200 breaststroke finals and 33rd in the 200 IM (2:11.43)…participated in the Arena Invitational (Nov. 18) and broke a personal best in the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.97.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Was named academic all-WAC…swam against Loyola Marymount (Jan. 15) and placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:24.53) and third in the 100 breast (1:08.49)…earned a personal best in the 200 breast (2:23.27) at the Toshiba Classic (Nov. 19-21)…finished fourth in the 200 breast (2:25.50) at the WAC Shootout (Oct. 9-10).

2008-09 (Freshman): Finished 11th in the 200 breaststroke (2:20.03) and 19th in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.93) events at the WAC Championship (Feb. 25-27).
Prep: A 2008 graduate of Hope Chapel Academy in Hermosa Beach, Calif.…swam club for five years…went to Y-Nationals and juniors in 2007 and 2008.
Personal: Born in Torrance, Calif.…plans to major in kinesiology…has two brothers and one sister…parents are Sonia and Darwin Pagett of Hawthorne, Calif.
