Biography

2010-11 (Senior): Swam in three events in the Western Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 23-26)…took 19th in all three events including the 400 IM (4:33.79) and 1650 freestyle (17:39.83)…earned a personal best in the 500 freestyle (5:02.59)…earned a personal best in the 1650 freestyle at the Arena Invitational (Nov. 18-20) with a time of 17:18.05.

2009-10 (Junior): Was named academic all-WAC…had three personal bests at the Toshiba Classic (Nov. 19-21) after taking 12th in the 1650 freestyle (16:58.19), 13th in the 400 individual medley (4:26.63), and 17th in the 500 free (4:53.93)…swam in the WAC Championships (Feb. 24-27) and placed eighth in the 1650 free (17:20.04) and ninth in the 500 free (4:59.32)…won the 1000 free (10:20 12) and took second in the 500 free (5:05.34) at the WAC Shootout (Oct. 9-10).

2008-09 (Sophomore): Finished ninth in the 500 freestyle (5:14.06) swim, 12th in the 1650 free (18:07.48) and 14th in the 1000 free (10:48.42) at the Big West Shootout (Nov. 7-8).

2007-08 (Freshman): Placed third in 200m breast (2:49.51) against Arizona State (Sept. 28)...finished third in the 400 IM event (4:35.18) at the UC Irvine Shootout...was second in 1000 yard (10:27.94) and 500 yard free events (5:11.14) against Oregon State (Dec. 19)...finished second in 1000 yard free (10:21.39) against Wisconsin (Jan. 12).

Prep: A 2007 graduate of Michael Power/St. Joseph High School...swam for the Etobicoke Swim Club...13 consecutive Provincial Championships...seven long course and six short course...a member of the 2007 national age group championship team.

Personal: Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada...plans to major in kinesiology...has two sisters...parents are Nancy and Michael McTeague of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
