Biography

2010-11 (Junior): Helped lead the Warriors to their first Conference USA Invitational championship (Feb. 23-26) title…dove in all three events…won the 1 meter with a score of 325.40…also took second on the 3 meter (324.15) and third on the platform (266.15)…was named Conference USA Diver of the Meet...advanced to the NCAA Zone E Championships and took 14th on both the 1 meter (560.75) and 3 meter (631.95) dives…earned two personal bests at the Senior Diving Invitational (Oct. 23) after taking first on the 3 meter (349.10) and second on the 1 meter (329.75)…collected six first place finishes on the season.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Advanced to the NCAA Zone E diving meet in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform…placed third in all three diving events at the Conference USA Championships…scored a personal best 288.45 on the platform dive at the CUSA Championships, also scored 285.00 in the one-meter and 305.50 on the three-meter…won the three-meter dive (308.10) at the Rainbow Diving Invitational (Jan. 16) and finished third on the one-meter (284.55)…placed second on the one-meter (311.50) against Wisconsin (Jan. 9)…placed third on the three-meter (304.35) against Stanford (Oct. 10)…finished third on both the one-meter (263.25) and three-meter (281.47) against California (Oct. 9).

2008-09 (Freshman): Finished third in the 1-meter (261.50), 3-meter (289.05) and platform (262.45) dives at the Conference USA Championship (Feb. 25-28)…finished third in the 3-meter event(264.50) at the Rainbow Diving Invitational (Jan. 15-16)…participated in all diving events.

Prep: A 2008 graduate of San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, Calif....earned four letters in diving…won the EBAL Diving Championships in 2006 and 2008…a member of the All-Valley Divers club for six years.
Personal: Born in Palo Alto, Calif.…plans to major in geography...has one older sister…mother is Pamela Novi and father is George Rugg.
