2011-12 (Sophomore): Team leader in 1650 freestyle with a time of 15:18.15…also recorded a personal best in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:41.72 on Mar. 8. 

2010-11 (Freshman): Earned three personal bests at the Conference USA Invitational (Feb. 23-26) in the 200 freestyle (1:45.19), 500 freestyle (4:30.81), and 1650 freestyle (15:40.46)…swam in a tri-meet against Wyoming and UC San Diego (Jan. 28-29) and finished sixth in the 1000 freestyle with a personal best time of 9:49.40…holds the team’s top time in the 1650 freestyle.

Prep: A 2010 graduate of Eisenhower High School in Yakima, Wash…lettered two years in swimming…won the 2010 Washington state title in the 200 free…named Big 9 Swimmer of the Year and Yakima Valley Swimmer of the Year.

Personal: Born in Wenatchee, Wash…intends to major in political science…parents are Brian Wheeler and Holly Wheeler of Yakima, Wash.
