Prior To UH: Attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, Calif., for four years…lettered in cross country and track and field…member of 2007 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship team…named scholar-athlete for four years…career-best 5K time of 19:30.
 
Prep: A 2005 graduate of Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, Wash…lettered four years in swimming and diving and cross country, and two years in track and field…as a senior, was selected as the cross country team’s runner of the year…named a scholar-athlete all four years…participated in the 5K in cross country and mile and two-mile runs in track…member of the National Honor Society.
