2008-09: Sailed in three regattas, one in the fall and two in the spring…helped UH finish third at the PCCSC Sloop Championship (Oct. 20-21)…part of the sixth-place team at the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite (Jan. 17-18).
2007-08: Participated in just one regatta, teaming with Mark Spector and Ryan Wild to capture the PCCSC Sloop Championships in Newport Beach, Calif...the win qualified UH for the sloop nationals for the first time since 1997.
Prep: A 2007 graduate of Kirby Prep School in Santa Cruz, Calif...has sailed under his father, Phillipe, for Pegasus Racing since 2001...team member of three Transpacific Yacht Race championship teams, including 2001, when he became the youngest person ever to do a Transpac at age 12...became the youngest world champion ever (14) in the sport of sailing in 2003 when he placed first in the Melges 24 class...also placed first in the 2003 Coastal Cup (San Francisco to Catalina Island), setting a new record for fastest elapsed time...became the youngest member of the U.S. national sailing team at age 15, qualifying at the 2005 Miami OCR in the 49er fleet.
