• Appeared in the first seven games of the season with six starts.
• Finished the year with 14 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack.
• Had four tackles and a sack in his UH debut versus Delaware State.
• Sidelined for the final five games of the year.
• Earned academic All-Mountain West honors.

Prior to UH

• Played four seasons at USC.
• Appeared in 16 career games for the Trojans.
• Saw his most extensive action during the 2021 season as a redshirt freshman, playing in 10 games with one start and finishing that season with eight tackles.

Prep

• A 2019 graduate of Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, Calif.
• Was a three-year starter, finishing his career with 150-plus tackles and 21 sacks.
• As a senior was named a PrepStar All-American and the Marin County Athletic League Player of the Year after recording 82 tackles and 10 sacks.
• A three-time all-state player and twice named Marin County Athletic League Lineman of the Year.
• Also competed in the shot put and discus for Marin’s track team.

Personal

• Born in Long Beach, Calif.
• Earned undergraduate degree at USC in social sciences with an emphasis in psychology.
• Has six sisters.
• Uncle is former NFL veteran defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, who most notably won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens.
• Mother is Magaret Sekona.
