University of Hawai'i at Manoa Athletics

• Started all 13 games at right tackle.
• One of four offensive players to start every game.
• Part of an offensive line unit that surrendered only 10 sacks in Mountain West play.

2021:

• Played in all 13 games.
• A regular on the field goal and PAT units. 
• Also saw action as a reserve tackle. 

Prior to UH:

• Spent four years at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill.
• Started 23 games spanning his redshirt freshman and sophomore campaigns.
• Named a Phil Steele Freshman All-American in 2018.
• Named Missouri Valley Offensive Lineman of the Week after helping the Leathernecks to a season-high 565 yards of total offense with three pancakes vs. Missouri State.
• Started all 12 games at left tackle in 2019
• Did not play the 2020 season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
• Twice earned the MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award.

Prep:

• A 2017 graduate of Minnetonka High School in Minnesota.
• A two-sport athlete in football and track and field. 
• Earned two varsity letters in football.
• As a senior, helped Minnetonka capture the Class 6A Section championship while being named all-district honorable mention.
• A state qualifier in the shot put.

Personal:

• Born in Arlington Heights, Ill. 
• Earned a degree in economics from Western Illinois.
• Pursuing a masters in kinesiology and rehab science at UH.
• Has one older sister.
• Parents are Eric and Alana Hopp of Chanhassen, Minn.
