2021:

• Appeared in eight games as a receiver and on special teams. 
• Finished the season with 5 receptions for 37 yards. 
• Served as the primary kick returner for a game vs New Mexico State. 
• Started the season with two straight games with multiple receptions.

Prior to UH:

• Played two seasons for Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas.
• Served as a return specialist in addition to wide receiver.
• Earned 2021 NJCAA All-America honorable mention.
• Caught a team-high 39 passes for 434 yards and four touchdowns in seven games.
• Helped squad to the 2019 conference championship as a freshman, logging 15 catches for 357 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Prep:

• A 2019 graduate of Mansfield Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas.
• A two-sport athlete in football and track.
• Played one season of varsity football and was named conference Newcomer of the Year.
• Tallied 27 catches for 451 yards and three touchdowns, while averaging 16.7 yards per catch. 
• A regional champion in the 110-meter hurdles while also a standout in the triple jump and 4x400.

Personal:

• Born in Shreveport, La. 
• Intends to major in kinesiology.
• Has one older brother.
• Father Troy Edwards was the 1998 Biletnikoff Award winner out of Louisiana Tech before becoming a first-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers. 
• Parents are Troy and Kanyatta Edwards of Midlothian, Texas.
