2021: 

• Reserve defensive lineman appeared in nine games.
• Recorded a tackle in each of the first two games of the season at UCLA and versus Portland State.
• Earned academic all-MW honors.

2020:

• Played in five games as a reserve lineman and on special teams.
• Recorded four tackles, including a pair of stops in UH’s New Mexico Bowl win vs. Houston.
• Earned academic all-MW honors.
• A Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.  

2019 (Sophomore):

• Earned the Coach Hank Vasconcellos Defensive Scout Team Award.

Prior To UH:

• Spent two seasons at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

Prep:

• A 2016 graduate of Kamehameha School in Honolulu.
• Garnered all-state and all-league honors his senior season.
• Named a Polynesian All-American.
• State and league champion in the shot put.

Personal:

• Born in Makakilo, O‘ahu.
• Majoring in economics.
• Has two brothers and one sister.
• Cousin of UFC champion fighter Max Holloway.
• Brother, Micah, played offensive line at Wisconsin.
• Mother played softball at UH and was the Jack Bonham Award winner.
• Parents are Dean and Patricia Kapoi of Kapolei, O‘ahu.
