2018 (Senior): Appeared in 25 matches with 24 starts at outside hitter...finished fourth on the team with 182 kills while averaging 2.22 kills per set...also recorded 58 digs an 22 total blocks (three solo, 19 block assists)...posted double-digit kills in nine matches this season...put down a season-high 14 kills against UC Irvine (11/15/18)...had a season-high three blocks at UC Santa Barbara (10/5/18)...missed two matches due to injury, which snapped her streak of 48-straight starts dating back to her junior season...earned UH Scholar-Athlete honors.
2017 (Junior): Started all 38 matches at outside hitter and played in 104 out of 106 total sets played…recorded a career-high 15 kills vs. UCLA (8/27)…twice hit .500 at UC Riverside 14-3-22) and against Long Beach State (14-3-22)…posted a career-high 10 digs against Utah (9/3)…had a season-high three blocks seven times this season, the last time coming at UC Santa Barbara (10/28)…tallied seven double-digit kill matches…recorded career-highs of 217 kills, 2.09 kills per set, 14 service aces, 92 digs, and 91 total blocks this season.
2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in 25 matches with 10 starts…played both at outside and middle hitter…recorded career-highs across the board with 59 kills (1.02 per set), 42 total blocks, and 16 digs…hit a career-high percentage of .667 twice this year at UC Santa Barbara (7-1-9) (9/23/16) and against UCLA (6-0-9) (9/3/16)…recorded a career-high 20 attacks at Long Beach State (10/8/16)…tallied a career-high five blocks twice against North Illinois (9/9/16) and Washington (9/11/16).
2015 (Freshman): Appeared in 19 matches…finished her rookie campaign with four kills, four blocks, two digs and a service ace…recorded her first collegiate kill and block against CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 20)…notched a career-high two kills against UC Riverside (Oct. 3) and a career-high two blocks against UC Irvine (Oct. 17).
Prep: A 2015 graduate of Santa Fe Christian Schools in Solana Beach, California…lettered four seasons in indoor volleyball…a four-year member of Wave Volleyball Club…named to Prepvolleyball.com Top 50 Class of 2015 prospect list.
Personal: Born in Encinitas, Calif…played for Wave Volleyball Club for four years...is a pre-psychology major...has two older brothers…parents are Fransisco and Heather Castillo of Oceanside, Calif.
