2016-17 (Freshman): Averaged 3.3 ppg and 2.9 rpg while appearing in all 30 games…averaged 10.6 minutes per game off the bench…scored in 23 of 30 contests…shot 55 percent (39-71) from the floor and 61 percent (22-36) from the line…13 points and seven rebounds in just 15 minutes in his collegiate debut against SIU Edwardsville (Nov. 11)….grabbed a season-high nine rebounds and added two blocks in a win over Florida Atlantic (Nov. 14)…six points, four rebounds, and a block vs. North Carolina (Nov. 18)…eight points and six rebounds vs. UCSB (Jan. 28)…10 points and six rebounds in a season-high 17 minutes to help key win vs. Cal Poly (Feb. 9).
2016-17 Game-by-Game Statistics

Prior To UH: A 2016 graduate of Hadash High School in Tel-Aviv, Israel…played two seasons on the junior team for Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C., one of the most storied basketball franchises in international basketball…averaged 14.0 points and 7.3 rebounds for Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv at the 2016 Adidas Next Generation Tournament…served as a practice player for Maccabi’s senior team…also boasts national team experience…was set to be a starter on the Israeli U18 National Team in the summer of 2016, but was called up to play for the U20 team as a backup center….competed in the FIBA U20 European Championships, a tournament which also featured UH guard Sheriff Drammeh (Sweden) and fellow freshman signee Zigmars Raimo (Latvia)…as one of the youngest players in the entire tournament, he appeared in all seven games for Israel….as a member of the U16 and U18 national squads, helped the “B” team to silver-medal finishes in the 2014 and ’15 European Championships.
