2018 (Junior): Started in 23 matches while playing in 87 total sets with 24 appearances...at middle hitter…led UH and finished second in the Big West with 1.07 blocks per set …she recorded a career-high 93 total blocks with 15 block solos and 78 block assists…also recorded a career-high with 184 kills while hitting a .303 hitting percentage with ranks her at No. 9 in the final league standings…posted six double-digit kill matches—including a career-best match in which she recorded a career-high 15 kills and 17.5 points vs. San Diego State…hit a season-high .667 (9-1-12) against Idaho (9/6/18)…tallied a career-high 8 blocks (one solo/seven block assist) at UC Santa Barbara (10/5/18)…posted a career-high six digs vs. Oregon (9/14/18)…was voted to the 2018 Outrigger Volleyball Challenge all-tournament team…earned her first all-Big West First Team honors.
2017 (Sophomore): Appeared in 15 matches and played in 54 sets while starting 11 matches—including the last 10-straight…recorded a career-high 13 kills in UH’s NCAA first round match against Illinois (12/1)…posted a season-high hitting percentage of .368 (11-0-16) on UH’s Senior night against Long Beach State (11/4)…finished the season strong recording 10+ kills in three of the last four matches of the season…posted a season-high five total blocks against Cal Poly (10/7)...recorded season-highs of 94 kills and 20 digs and finished the season with 30 blocks for a career-high 112.5 total points.
2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in 24 matches and 57 sets with 14 starts at middle blocker…got first collegiate start against Kansas State (Aug. 27)… for the season tallied 65 kills and 50 total blocks… hit a career-best .714 attack percentage at Cal State Fullerton (5-0-7)…posted a career-high six kills and 18 attempts against Kansas State…recorded a career-high six blocks twice against UC Davis (Oct. 16) and vs. USC in the NCAA first round (Dec. 2)…earned Big West Academic All-Conference honors and was a UH Scholar-Athlete.
2015: Medical Redshirt
Prep: A 2015 graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada…helped U18 team to a fourth place finish at Canadian Nationals…a member of the St. Mary’s basketball team, helping them to a 2012 championship title and 2013 AAA Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Associations title…four year honor-roll student.
Personal: Born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada…majoring in biology...has one younger sister…parents are Greg and Gerri Burns of Hamilton, Ontario.
