Biography

2018-19 (Senior):

  • Awards and Honors: Earned third straight MPSF Diver of the Year award and garnered three MPSF first-team recognition in all diving events (1-meter, 3-meter and platform). Recipient of the Most Outstanding Diver Award. Named MPSF Male Athlete of the Week (1/23/19).
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 20-23): registered the top diver in the timed finals of the platform event with a score of 449.80. Also came away with a pair of silver medals in the 1-meter (355.05) and 3-meter (405.70) to help the Rainbow Warriors to a first-place finish.
  • NCAA Championships (Mar. 28-30): competed in the preliminary rounds of the platform and 3-meter. Finished 41st in platform (244.70) and 20th in the 3-meter (339.00).
  • vs. Cal State Bakersfield (Oct. 18-19): third in 1-meter (282.95), 1st in 3-meter (281.50)
  • Lancer Diving Invite Cal Baptist (Oct. 20): first in the 1-meter Finals, earning a personal best score of (360.70)
  • Sunshine Diving Invitational (Nov. 3): first in Platform (386.85)
  • Wally Nakamoto Diving Invite (Jan. 3-5): first in 3-meter (358.40) and 2nd in Platform (302.40)
  • UCLA Bruin Diving Invitational (Jan. 18-20): first in Platform Final (364.75)


2017-18 (Junior): 

  • Awards and honors: Named MPSF Diver of the Year, while earning a total of three MPSF honors, including two first-team accolades in 3-meter and Platform .  Garnered second-team honors in 1-meter,  UH Most Valuable Diver for 2017-2018
  • Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 16-18): Finished 8th in 1-meter Diving (297.45), 5th in 3-meter (330.80), 3rd in Platform Diving (352.20),
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 15-17): Finished in the top five in three events, finished 1sti in Platform (365.25), finished second in 3-meter (382.10), and finished fourth in 1-meter (321.25)
  • Wally Nakamoto Diving Invitational Jan. 3-5): 2nd in 1-meter (314.75), 2nd in 3-meter (354.60),  3rd in Platform (339.20)
  • UCLA Bruin Diving Invitational (Jan. 11-13): 2nd in 1-meter (344.20),  2nd in 3-meter (375.00),  3rd in Platform (365.80)
  • NCAA Zone E Championships (Mar. 5-7): Finished 3rd in 1-meter (338.00)  6th in 3-meter (331.80),  5th in platform (355.70).  Qualified for the 2018 NCAA Championships in all events.
  • NCAA Championships (Mar. 22-24): Competed in 3 preliminary events, placing 24th in 1-meter (316.10), 32nd in 3-meter (296.70), and 31st in Platform (325.00)
2016-17 (Sophomore):
  • Awards and Honors: MPSF Men’s Diver of the Year, MPSF Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week (Oct. 19), First-Team All-MPSF (3-meter diving, platform diving), Second-Team All-MPSF (1-meter diving)  ,  UH Most Valuable Diver for 2016-2017
  • vs. Arizona (Oct 8): Finished 1st in 1-meter (314.35) and 1st in 3-meter (328.30)
  • vs. Utah (Oct. 15): Finished 1st in 3-meter (373.35) and 4th in 1-meter (274.20)
  • Texas Diving Invitational (Nov. 17-19): Finished 4th in 3-meter with a personal best 398.85, finished 5th in 1-meter (327.80), and 6th in platform (357.60)
  • vs. Dartmouth (Dec. 18): Finished 1st in 3-meter (325.85) and 2nd in 1-meter (309.65)
  • Wally Nakamoto Diving Invitational (Jan. 5-6): Finished 1st in platform (368.95), 6th in 3-meter (352.65) and 6th in 1-meter (321.20)
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 16-18): Gold-medalist in platform with personal best 404.40, finished 4th in 1-meter (321.60), 3rd in 3-meter (386.90)
  • NCAA Zone E Championships (March 6-8): Reached the finals and finished 3rd in 3-meter with a prelim and finals combined score if 719.45, reached the finals and finished 6th in platform with a combined score of 652.05, reached the finals and finished 12th in 1-meter with a combined score of 586.30.  Qualified for the 2017 NCAA Championships in all three diving events
  • NCAA Championships (March 23-25): Finished 33rd in platform (272.10), 37th in 1-meter (274.40), 41st in 3-meter (285.90)
  • Swedish National Diving Championships (July 5-7)  Captured his first two Individual Swedish Senior National Diving Championship titles, winning both the 1-meter springboard event and the 10-meter Platform event.  Was 2nd place in the 3-meter springboard event.
2015-16 (Freshman):
  • Awards & Honors: All-MPSF First-Team: 3-meter diving and Platform diving
  • 2016 NCAA Zone E Championships: finished 10th in 1-meter (645.75) and 15th in Platform (587.35) and 15th in 3-meter (656.10)
  • MPSF Championship (Feb. 17-20): took bronze in the 3-meter diving event (356.35) and on platform (284.40) and placed fourth in the 1-meter (309.45)
  • vs. Fairfield (Jan. 12): placed first in the 1-meter (329.60) and the 3-meter (367.00)
  • Wally Nakamoto Diving Invitational (Jan. 7-8): placed second in the 3-meter (363.85)
  • Georgia Tech Diving Invitational (Nov. 19-21): finished eighth on the platform (322.20) and competed in the preliminaries: 1-meter (298.65) and 3-meter (302.30)
  • vs. Air Force Academy (Oct. 30): finished first in the 1-meter diving event (357.05) and in the 3-meter diving event (367.05)
  • vs. USC (Oct. 16-17): finished second in the 1-meter (351.20) and fourth in the 3-meter diving event (300.80)
