Biography

2019-20 (Junior):
  • Awards and Honors: CSCAA All-American Team, MPSF All-Academic Team, MPSF First Team (200 medley relay, 50 free, 400 medley relay, 100 fly, 100 free), MPSF Second Team (200 free relay, 400 free relay)
  • Strong showing at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 19-22) wracking up two No. 1 finishes in the 100 free and 100 fly, while adding a No. 3 finish in the 50 free.
  • Took No. 1 positions in the 100 free and 100 fly of head-to-head meet with Minnesota (Jan. 11). 
  • Finished No. 1 in the 100 free against Drury (Jan. 9).
  • Placed at No. 2 in the 100 fly of the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 21-23).
  • Came in at No. 3 of the 100 free event of a tri-match with Arizona and Denver (Oct. 25-26).
Prior to UH:
  • Previously competed for the University of California Berkley for one season

  • 2016 HHSSA and ILH Swimmer of the Year
  • Hawaiian record holder in short course 50-yard, 100-yard, and 200-yard freestyle events
  • Hawaiian record holder in long course 50-meter, 100-meter, 200-meter freestyle events, also holds the long course record in the 200-meter individual medley
  • Hawai‘i state champion from 2013 to 2016 in swimming
  • Member of the USA Junior National Team 2016
  • 2015-2016 High School All-America in 200 and 100 freestyle
  • Lettered 4 years in Swimming and Water Polo
  • Dual sport athlete in high school, competing in water polo from 2012 to 2015, winning state championships in 2012 and 2015
