Biography

2018-19 (Senior):
  • Awards and Honors: Earned MPSF All-Academic Honors
  • vs. CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 18-20): competed in the 50 Y Back, 50 Y Fly and 100 Y IM, swimming to a 10th-place finish in the 50 Y Back (24.95). Recorded a 14th-place finish in the 50 Y Fly (23.93) and 13th-place finish in the 100 Y IM (53.97).
  • Roadrunner Invite (Oct. 20): competed in four events (50 Y Free, 100 Y Back, 200 Y Back and 200 Y IM). Finished ninth overall in the 200 Y IM (1:58.93) and 11th in the 200 Y Back (1:58.28). Also competed in the 50 Y Free, finishing in 15th (22.07) and completed the 100 Y Back with a time of 53.58.
  • Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 14-16): competed in five events (50 Y Back, 100 Y Back, 200 Y Back, 100 Y Fly and 200 Y IM). On the opening day in the prelims, finished 49th in the 200 Y IM (1:54.63) and finished the 100 Y Back with a time of 51.50. Recorded a 45th place finish in the preliminary round of the 100 Y Fly (51.61), nabbed a 26th place finish in the finals of the 100 Y Back (52.15) and finished the 50 Y Back with a time of 24.41 on day two. Closed out the invitational with a 22nd place finish in the finals of the 200 Y Back (1:52.48).
  • vs. Minnesota (Jan. 12): competed in three timed final events (100 Y Back, 200 Y Back and 100 Y Fly). Registered a fifth-place finish in the 100 Y Back and sixth-place finish in the 200 Y Back (1:54.58). Also competed in the 100 Y Fly, finishing with a time of 53.12.
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 20-23): recorded personal best marks in every event competed in (50 Y Back, 100 Y Back, 200 Y Back, 50 Y Fly, 100 Y Fly and 200 Y IM). On the opening day, finished the 50 Y Back with a time of 23.21. The next day earned another PR in the preliminary round of the 200 Y IM (1:52.11). On day three, followed that performance with a 13th place finish in the 100 Y Back (50.76) and 22nd (50.23). Capped off his swimming career with a 11th place finish in the 200 Y Back (1:50.57).

2017-18 (Junior):
  • Awards and honors: Earned MPSF All-American Honors.
  • vs. Dury, Minnesota (Jan. 6): Finished 10th in 100 Y Back (54.29) and 200 Y Back (1:59.04), and finished 7th in the 400 Y IM (4:23.64)
  • vs. Purdue (Jan. 2): Competed in 3 events finishing all in the top 10. Finished 7th in 50 Y Free (22.26) and 200 Y Back (1:58.39), and 8th place in 200 Y IM (2:03.76)
  • Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 16-18): Competed in 3 preliminary heats finishing 41st in 100 Y Back (54.12), 39th in 100 Y Fly (51.89), and 39th in 200 Y IM (1:54.64). Finished 29th in the finals heat for 200 Y Back (1:53.46) gaining a season best time.
  • Hawaii Senior Fall Championships (Nov. 11): Competed in the preliminary round in 200 Y IM (1:55.10) and gained a season best time.
  • vs. UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 29): Finished 7th in 100 Y Back (54.44) and 8th in 100 Y Fly (53.26)
  • vs. CSU Bakersfield, Idaho (Oct. 28): Finished in the top 5 for all 3 swims. Finished 5th in 100 Y Back (53.37), 5th in 200 Y Back (1:57.03), and 4th in 200 Y IM (1:56.89)
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 15-17): Competed in 3 events with top 20 finishes. Finished 15th with a personal best in 200 Y Back (1:51.55), 20th with a season best in the 200 Y IM (1:53.27), and 11th with a season best time in the 400 Y IM (4:07.50)
2016-17 (Sophomore):
  • Awards and Honors: MPSF All-Academic
  • vs. Arizona (Oct. 8): Swam second leg of 3rd-place 200 medley relay (1:26.48), finished 5th in 100 breast (1:00.44), 6th in 200 breast (2:16.75), 5th in 200 IM (2:01.12)
  • A3 Performance Invitational (Nov. 17-19): Anchored 200 free relay (1:25.21), finished 28th in 200 IM (1:55.22), swam second leg of 400 medley relay (3:26.21), swam second leg of 200 medley relay (1:37.91), finished 18th in 100 fly (51.53), swam 100 back prelims (52.83), finished 14th in 200 back (153.54)
  • vs. Dartmouth (Dec. 18): Finished 2nd in 100 back (52.98), 4th in 200 back (1:57.92), 4th in 200 IM (1:58.66)
  • vs. Minnesota/Drury (Jan. 7): Finished 7th in 100 back (54.25), 9th in 50 free (21.93), swam 100 fly (53.33), swam first leg of 4th-place 400 free relay (3:11.31)
  • vs. Simon Fraser (Jan. 8): Finished 6th in 400 IM (4:23.74), 6th in 200 back (2:02.92), swam third leg of first-place 400 free relay (3:04.72)
  • MPSF Championships (Feb. 15-18): Finished 17th in 200 IM (1:52.34), 12th in 400 IM (4:05.49), 13th in 200 back (1:51.83)
2015-16 (Freshman):
  • MPSF Championship (Feb. 17-20): placed 18th in the 100 Back (51.34) Bonus Finals, 14th in the 200 Back (1:51.67) Consolation Finals and 22nd in the 200 IM (1:54.14) Bonus Finals
  • vs. Minnesota (Jan. 9): finished seventh in the 200 Back (2:00.57) and in the 400 IM (4:25.09)
  • A3 Performance Invitational (Nov. 19-21): placed 24th in the 200 Back (1:53.84) Bonus Finals and 29th in the 100 Back (52.95) Bonus round
  • vs. Air Force Academy (Oct. 30): finished third in the 200 IM (1:59.55), eighth in the 100 Back (53.47) and fourth in the 200 Back (1:58.61)
  • vs. USC (Oct. 16-17): finished fifth in the 100 Back (53.04), sixth in the 200 Back (2:01.83) and eighth in the 200 IM (2:00.05)
