Biography

2014-15 (Senior):
-Competed in 20 singles matches and 18 doubles matches
-Finished season with a 5-15 overall singles record while posting a 5-12 mark in dual matches, going 1-4 in conference play
-In singles, posted a 2-7 record in nine matches on No. 3 court; 2-4 in six matches on No. 4 court; and 1-1 in two matches on No. 2 court
-Posted a 5-13 overall doubles record with a 4-11 mark in dual matches and a 2-2 record in Big West play
-Played all but one doubles match on the No. 1 court 
-Voted Big West men's tennis Athlete of the Week (Feb. 4) after teaming with partner Nils Schuhmann to knock off the nation's 39th-ranked duo against No. 63 Washington. Lam also won two of his three singles matches during a west coast road trip.
-Named Second team all-Big West Conference in doubles with partner Marcel Chan
-Chan and Lam teamed together on the No. 1 court in seven matches with a 3-4 overall record while going 2-2 in conference. The duo won two straight games over ranked teams, defeating No. 71 UC Davis' Alec Adamson/Adam Levie,  6-2 (Mar. 26) and No. 64 Cal Poly's Ben Donovan/Corey Pang, 6-2 (Mar. 30). For Lam, it was his second straight second-team honor in doubles after earning the honor last season with Jonathon Brooklyn.
-10 times with Nils Schuhmann with whom he posted a 2-8 record
-Earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors

2013-14 (Junior):
-Named second team all-Big West doubles
-Went 3-7 in singles play and 8-10 in doubles playing with Marcel Chan and Jonathan Brooklyn
-Won his singles and doubles matches in UH's season opener vs. Sacramento State (1/17/14)
-Won four straight doubles matches late in the season, all on the road with Jonathan Brooklyn

2012-13 (Sophomore):
-Competed in one singles match and 12 doubles matches for the season
-Lone singles match was against Cristobal Ramos Salazar (No. 63 Idaho) and was a three setter on the No. 6 Court
-Had a season high three doubles match win streak (Mar. 30-Apr. 11) partners with Nils Schuhmann and all on the No. 2 Court

2011-12 (Freshman):
-Competed in 10 matches on the season
-Helped the team to its first WAC win against Nevada (3/12) against Jordan Rezenfield on the No. 6 court
-Contributed to the UC Davis (3/30) win with a doubles win with partner Jared Spiker

Prep:
-Homeschooled and graduated in 2010 in Honolulu, O‘ahu
-Advanced to the finals in the DT USTA Nike Summer Section Championships for boys’ U-18 singles
-Ranked No. 1 junior player in Hawai‘i
