• Appeared briefly in 10 games, scoring in four.
• Scored a career-high four points in final home appearance vs. UC Irvine (Feb. 24).
• Recipient of the team’s Ah Chew Goo Most Inspirational Award.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Reserve guard saw spot time in 15 games…tallied six points, five rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 47 minutes played (3.1 mpg)…shot 3-of-9 from the field…had two points and one assist in a season-high 13 minutes in a win over UH Hilo (Nov. 22)…posted two points and a steal in seven minutes vs. Illinois State (Dec. 22)…also scored two points and grabbed a career-best three rebounds vs. UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 28).

2015-16 (Freshman): Appeared in 13 games off the bench in limited action… season-high 13 minutes played and scored season-high four points along with two rebounds and two assists vs. Mississippi Valley State (Dec. 29)…played six minutes versus UH-Hilo (Dec. 8) and scored two points and grabbed two rebounds...also scored two points each against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 2) and Howard (Jan. 2)...shot 55.6 percent from the field (5-of-9).

Prep: A 2014 graduate of ‘Iolani School in Honolulu…a three-year starter for the Raiders…an all-state selection and all-league as a senior…ranked No. 3 on  the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Fab 15 list….helped lead school to league and state championships in 2014…named to the HHSAA all-tournament team…averaged 11.4 ppg and shot nearly 80 percent on free throws during league play…buried 19 three-pointers on the season…served as a team captain…also a three-year letterwinner in volleyball…ranked No. 11 on the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Fab 15 list in volleyball…played club basketball for the Honolulu Raiders…a member of the honor roll.

Personal: Born in Kailua, O‘ahu…major is travel industry management…has one younger sister…parents are Ian and Tracy Buscher of Kailua, O‘ahu.
